It also reminds me a bit of GW's ex...I like it. It also reminds me a bit of GW's excuse for why special characters seem to show up all the time in relatively small actions. The idea is that there's a whole lot more going on, but the game the players are actually fighting out is the section that we're zoomed in on, because that's where these legendary badasses are involved, and everything else is more or less going to work out however it does, so we're not going to worry about it mechanistically.
