I like having a couple of good but different tools to generate things randomly - then i get to interpret and make sense of the results. Learned to do that with Traveller. It is time consuming but I think the results are often more original and varied than I’d come up with natively. You could probably get the bare bones of a setting in twenty minutes if you rushed it, or go into more depth (rolling up & statting key NPCs for different factions, mapping individual complexes, etc) and spend an afternoon on it.<br />Really, it's no quicker than just sitting down and deciding this stuff for yourself, but I prefer doing stuff this way anyway. There's probably a blogpost in why that is tbh.Cavegirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03853637517886592288noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2556965477270279581.post-20600706215577612172019-08-28T09:26:06.215-07:002019-08-28T09:26:06.215-07:00that's very sweet of you to say that.

So with that, and your process here, people can get inspiration for both above and below ground. Better yet, we get factions as well, which is something I find hardest of all to get right or believable. Using this dice drop for factions and such is a very clever extension of this mechanic. You have a real talent for this stuff.Alistairhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04631364538623314004noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2556965477270279581.post-71161327567734967542019-08-28T01:30:01.288-07:002019-08-28T01:30:01.288-07:00Like in wolfpacks, yes.
